Getting to BMO Field
BMO Field sits at Exhibition Place on Toronto's lakeshore, about 20 minutes from Union Station. The easiest way to get there on match day is the TTC 509 Harbourfront or 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop β both run from Union Station. Budget 45 minutes from downtown if you're travelling at peak times.
From Pearson Airport (YYZ), take the Union Pearson Express to Union Station, then the streetcar west. Total time: about 60β75 minutes. A taxi or rideshare will run roughly $55β70 CAD from the airport.
Driving: Parking at Exhibition Place is available but limited. Pre-book through the Exhibition Place website. Expect $30β40 CAD on match days.

The closest hotels to BMO Field are in the Liberty Village and King West neighbourhoods. Expect to pay $200β350 CAD/night for a 3-star hotel during World Cup. Book well in advance β Toronto hotel inventory will be tight.

Set price alerts now. Toronto hotels during the 2026 World Cup are expected to be 2β3x normal rates. Booking 6+ months ahead is strongly recommended.

Inside BMO Field
Bag policy: BMO Field follows standard stadium rules β small clear bags (30x30x15cm) or small non-transparent bags (no larger than 15x25cm). No large backpacks. Check the venue's official website before match day.
Food and drink: Concessions inside the stadium are priced in CAD. Expect $12β16 for a beer, $10β14 for food. There's a good selection including Canadian options.
Seat tips: The south end (Goal South) has the most atmosphere. The upper bowl gives great views of the field and the Toronto skyline.
Fan Zones and Events
Toronto will host official FIFA Fan Zones during the tournament. The Waterfront area near Harbourfront Centre is expected to be a major hub. Check the City of Toronto's official World Cup page closer to the tournament for confirmed locations.
